One ratio, consistent dimensions

Keep width and height in proportion.

AspectFit reduces numeric dimensions to whole-number ratio terms and calculates either a target width or a target height. It keeps the unrounded value visible, applies the rounding rule you choose, and lets you copy the result. It processes numbers only and does not alter image files.

Three clear steps

From source dimensions to a copyable answer

01

Enter width and height

AspectFit reduces integer or finite-decimal dimensions to exact whole-number terms.

02

Choose one known target side

Supply a target width or a target height, never both; the other side is calculated from the source ratio.

03

Review and copy

Compare the unrounded value with the chosen whole-number result, then copy the dimensions you need.

Five useful starting points

Use a preset without turning it into a rule

  • Use 1:1 for a square, 4:3 for a classic landscape frame, or 3:2 for a wider photographic proportion.
  • Use 16:9 as a wide landscape starting point and 9:16 as its portrait counterpart.
  • Presets fill the ratio; they do not choose a final dimension pair or file format for you.

Ready to calculate

Keep the ratio, choose the dimension.

Enter two source dimensions, optionally set one target side, and copy the reduced ratio or proportional result.
